Westside is working on plans to add on to our current facility.

Where we've been-
1. In September the building committee released the architect to further
develop the above plans.
2.
On September 25, 2007 our Civil Engineer, Jim Green, and a representative from our Architectual firm, Howard & Helmer, had a pre-application meeting with the City of Olathe.
3. On October 26, 2007 we submitted an application to the City of Olathe to present our exterior design and floor plan to the City Planning
Commission.
4. On November 5, 2007 Westside held a neighborhood meeting for all neighbors living within 500 ft.

On November 26, 2007 City of Olathe Planning Commission passed our plan with a 6-1 vote.
Since step 5 we have been continually moving forward to developing "construction drawings" We anticipate construction drawings beginning in April 2008.
*Special note - The
steps we are currently taking are to obtain a firm price. We have not
voted to build yet. That vote will take place once we have a
"guaranteed maximum price" from our general contractor.
