Welcome to the Kids' Day out staff page! Each member of the Kids' Day Out Staff is required by the State to have continuous training in Childhood Education. Additionally all of our teachers have had previous experience teaching young children. We believe you will find each teacher is dedicated to providing a learning and enjoyable environment for your child. Please feel free to check out their picture and bio below.
 Director
Cindy Potter is beginning her 9th year as Director of the Kids Day Out program. Cindy has worked at KDO for 20 years teaching the preschool class before she became director. Cindy has an education degree and taught for 5 years in the Olathe School District.  Assistant Director
Sue Sigler is beginning her 3rd year as Assistant Director of the Kids Day Out program. Sue taught for in the KDO program for many years before leaving to pursue another career. Sue returned in 2005, after being away for 10 years, to serve as the Assistant Director. Lambs Class - 18 months through 2 1/2 years  Deb Alden is beginning her 3rd year of teaching this class at KDO. Deb has two children who have attended our program.
 Becki Privett is new to KDO this year, although she has had an in-home daycare and lots of experience raising her own 3 boys. Becki also works with the children at her church.
Kangaroos Class - 2 1/2 through 3 1/2 years (not potty trained)
 Staci Knight is a new teacher to the
Kids Day Out program, but is not new to the program itself, as she has
a little girl who attends KDO. Staci works with preschool children at
her church as well.
 Sara Stegner is also a new teacher to
the program, however she has been attending church at Westside for the
last several years. Sara has 3 children, one of which attends the Kids
Day Out program.
Chipmunks Class - 2 1/2 through 3 1/2 years (potty trained)  Nichole Graham is a new teacher to KDO this year, but is well known by several of the staff, has two sons who attend the program, and attends Westside Church. Nichole also has a 3 month old daughter.
 Megan Turner has taught at KDO for 7 years. All of Megan's children have attended Kids Day Out. Megan also has volunteered as the Children's Ministry Director at Westside Church for the last several years.
Giraffes Class - 3 1/2 through 4 1/2 years
 Kelly Jessip is beginning her 9th year as a teacher at KDO. Kelly attend Westside Church and has 2 children. Kelly has worked with children at Westside as well as in the public school setting as a para.
 Trenda Matney is new to the Kids Day Out program as a teacher this year. Trenda has 2 children, one of which attended KDO last year.
Preschool Class - 4 years and up 
Marcia Woodard began teaching the Preschool Extended Day Class in 2003, and moved into the regular Preschool Class last year. Marcia has an education degree, and previous teaching experience at several grade levels (including preschool) in the public school system in California.
Christen Sola is the new Preschool Extended Day teacher this year. Christen also has an education degree and has previous experience teaching preschool. She has 4 children, one of whom attends the KDO program.
