Love & Logic for Teens Love & Logic class beginning Oct. 7th on Wednesday nights from 7-8 p.m. in the Gathering Place (coffee shop). This is going to be a very good class for not only parents, but youth leaders as well as you minister to teens in accountability groups, committees, Sunday School and so many other ways. Laura Murphy, a certified parent coach, is going to provide us with some great tools for working with teens. I want to encourage you to sign up if you are interested even though it is during the teen worship service. It could be a real blessing to you as you work with teens. Even if you can’t go to all of the class sessions, Laura has it broken up into helpful topics, so you could chose one that you think will be helpful for you as a youth leader. New Small Group - "Life's Healing Choices"
Thursday, October 8th, 7pm., come join this 8 week series exploring God's healing in a small group setting with the book of the same title.
Starting Sunday, September 20 Pastor Pickens will be utilizing a video series titled "God Provides" in the morning services. This video series is distributed by Crown Financial Ministries. Some may remember several years ago our church-wide emphasis on financial freedom. This sermon series is different, but speaks directly to finances with dramatized video stories from the Bible. We hope you will be able to join us!
