Welcome to the Kids' Day out staff page! Each member of the Kids' Day Out Staff is required by the State to have continuous training in Childhood Education. Many of our teachers have had previous experience teaching young children. We believe you will find each teacher is dedicated to providing a learning and enjoyable environment for your child. Director Cindy Potter is beginning her 11th year as Director of the Kids Day Out program. Cindy has worked at K.D.O for 22 years, teaching the preschool class before she became director. Cindy has an education degree and taught for 5 years in the Olathe School District. She is actively involved in many areas at Westside Church. Assistant Director
Nichole Graham is our new Assistant Director this year, although she is not new to K.D.O, having taught for 2 years. She has two children who attend the program, as well as one in first grade. Nichole attends Westside Church working with both children and adults.
Lambs Class - 18 months through 2 1/2 years Leslie Bills is a new teacher at K.D.O, although 2 of her 3 children attended our program. Leslie has done in-home daycare for many years, and also has experience working in another kid's day out program.
Kelleigh Magle worked 2 years ago with both the Preschool Class and the Chipmunks class. This is her second year as a teacher in the Lambs Class. She has 2 children in elementary school. Chipmunks Class - 2 1/2 through 3 1/2 years (potty trained) Barbara Enright is new to teaching this year, although she is familiar with our program because her children have all attended, or are attending, K.D.O. She has lots of experience working with children.
Staci Knight is beginning her third year as a teacher here. She has experience working with several ages, as she also works with preschoolers at her church. Giraffes Class - 3 1/2 through 4 1/2 years
Kelly Jessip is beginning her 11th year as a teacher at K.D.O. Kelly attends Westside Church and has 2 children. Kelly has worked with children at church as well as in the public school setting as a para.
Preschool Class - 4 years and up Bonnie Buckley has worked in many areas at Kid's Day out. She is currently assisting in the AM Preschool and Preschool Extended Day. Bonnie has an education degree and is actively involved at Westside Church.
Christen Sola is the Preschool Extended Day teacher. This is her 3rd year at K.D.O. Christen also has an education degree and has previous experience teaching preschool. She has 4 children.
